It’s heavy at around 10 kg. Useful parts are the buttons/keypad, backlight bulbs and casing. It would be impossible to interface such a complex piece of avionics electronic equipment without serious knowledge on the components.

The plan is to remove the screen and I/O boards and replace it components that can interface with the Flight Sim. Hate to tear down all the good engineering, but this is the only way.
