While looking up ideas for the visual (projector) front for the simulator I came across this video filmed in 2014. I visited the London Emirates Aviation Experience last year. I did not try the simulators (there are four available – two B777 and two A380) as they target the general public with no aviation knowledge (e.g. pedestal switches and push buttons are non-functional) and operating the aircraft is simplified, “on rails”. From observation it appears only one projector is used and a ?120 degree curve screen. I would like to attempt something similar with the A320 simulator as space is restricted and a 180 degree projector screen is out of the question.

The exhibition is interesting, and if you have time also check out the Emirates Air Line. You will get a great view of London and the London City Airport which is known to have a challenging approach.
