It’s unfortunate newer Airbus aircraft have gone away with the traditional analog or non digital Airspeed indicator. In its place you have an ISIS or Integrated Standby Instrument System.

Older aircraft without an ISIS have a separate Altitude, Speed, and Horizon indicator.

It’s a beauty to watch the instruments in an analog gauge move.

Made like a Swiss watch these instruments must be calibrated to be accurate.

To use it in a Sim the gauge must be connected to a stepper or servo motor.

I will be sending the instrument to a fellow Australian builder to gain his insight on how a motor can be integrated into the gauge.
