More details on the Fenix Simulations A320 MCDU have surfaced – their latest blog post details an example of their working RNAV/RNP system for complex departures (Queenstown, New Zealand), FLS modelling, RTA (Required time of Arrival), AOC + ATSU functions and Simbrief integration.

Their Airbus technical advisors (real world A320 pilots) include well known YouTube and Twitch personalities Blackbox711 and KatiePilot.

I manage to catch up with Aamir on Discord – he reports that at this time they are focusing on the development of the aircraft fundamentals ; although they haven’t ruled out direct hardware interfacing (or an API) with their Airbus it remains low on their list of priorities.
