The Airbus flight deck has two loudspeakers. They are mounted on the sidestick console chassis facing the Captain and First Officer sidesticks. Their purpose is to alert the pilot of system alarms and to route audio from the Audio Control Panel (ACP). If you look closely at the wiring of the speaker, there are four … Continue reading

ProSimA320 1.42
ProSimA320 1.42 is now available and is compatible with MSFS2020. The preview release has some obvious bugs but this should be expected for an initial release. To ensure compatibility Legacy flight modelling must be selected in the MSFS2020 menu options. ProSimA320 must be configured to connect with Simconnect and not FSUIPC. Continue reading
ProSim 1.42 – MSFS2020 Support!
ProSim 1.42 will be released tomorrow with native support for MSFS 2020. The release is a preview according to Hanne (CEO, ProSim) and there are some shortcomings: • Lighting. Due to issues in the MSFS2020 platform, specific lighting controls are not functioning. We worked around this by controlling lights the old-fashioned way, but this does … Continue reading

A ProSim Conundrum
OPINION ProSimA320 was marketed as a complete aviation training program when it was initially released (version 1.0) back in January 2017. At a price point of €1500, there were expectations the program was full featured and complete as it had been in development for several years. The ProSim team were experienced developers having released the … Continue reading
ProSim FMS Trainer
ProSim-AR are planning to release an FMS Jet trainer which can work independently without an adjunct Flight Simulator Software (Prepar3D, X-Plane, MSFS2020). This is ideal for pilots, or students who would like to run through scenarios or procedures on a flat screen system. Such a trainer would run on weaker processors, allowing it to execute … Continue reading
